Robert Malmberg is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. His studio and gallery space is located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where he shoots for a variety of corporate and private clients. Malmberg specializes in studio portraiture, still life, travel, and lifestyle photography. In addition, Robert shoots with the historic wet collodion process, combining hand mixed darkroom recipes with antique large format cameras.

Malmberg's passion for fine art photography led to the creation of his online gallery, which offers unique collections of limited edition photographs from Robert’s adventures in the studio and abroad. Robert provides museum quality limited edition prints to adoring collectors, interior designers, and hospitality clients.

His current collaboration with St. Frank Textiles boasts a selection of curated photographs from a recent trip to Mexico City. Says Robert of his travel experience, “The energy in Mexico City was at once vibrant and permeating. Most of the images were captured on film with hopes to expose an analog side to such a magical place, bursting with exotic desert plants and primary colors.”

Malmberg has exhibited his work at Scope Art Miami during Art Basel, The Institute of Contemporary Art in London, The Decoration & Design Building, The New-York Historical Society Museum on Central Park West, and was recently an artist-in-residence at the Quin Hotel in Manhattan.

Robert has been featured in The New York Times, Wallpaper*, Huffington Post, Paris Match, Domino Magazine, and the SF Chronicle. His fine photo centerpieces were most recently featured in Architectural Digest.

In his spare time, Robert can be found hanging with his family and friends, cooking, surfing, traveling, riding bikes, and processing film from his adventures around the globe.
