FIRE < ICE: BEAUTY ON THE EDGE

Limited Edition Fine Art Prints by Robert Malmberg

What began as a self-funded solo expedition across southeast Iceland evolved into a fine-art series exploring beauty, impermanence, and our connection to the natural world.

Originally launched as a conservation fundraiser in partnership with the Iceland Nature Conservation Association (INCA), the project supported efforts to protect Iceland’s glaciers and highlands — turning art into action.

While the fundraiser has now successfully concluded, Fire < Ice: Beauty on the Edge continues as part of Malmberg’s ongoing collection — available as limited-edition, museum-grade prints in multiple sizes.

Each print is produced using archival pigment inks on heavyweight Hahnemühle fine-art paper, signed and numbered in studio. Large-format and custom sizes available upon request.

The project is now evolving into a fine-art book, set for release mid-winter, alongside upcoming exhibition plans in New York and Reykjavík — stay tuned for updates as those take shape.

In collaboration with the Iceland Nature Conservation Association (INCA).
